SOUL GROOVE: Fear as the Seed of Courage

Full Moon Edition: March 3, 2026 from 8 - 9:30pm

In these divisive times, corruption profits when the people are isolated, despairing, and frozen in overwhelm. Now more than ever, art-making is a radical act to reclaim our agency, to empower our creativity, and to find meaning amidst drastic social change.

Join us as we engage movement-based creative practice to transform fear into meaningful action, to cultivate connection, and to rediscover our power as a people.

All bodies welcome! No art or formal dance experience necessary.

soul groove is an offering from Garrett Coleman’s anam rince movement lab, in association with ANAM, a community exploring the essence of Celtic and indigenous cultural art forms through education, performance, and spaces of belonging.

soul groove is facilitated by Pittsburgh’s own Garrett Murray Coleman, Tony Nominated and Drama Desk Award Winning choreographer, and Drew Bayura, renowned music producer and multi-instrumentalist.

Connecting with Community

Building community is a core tenet of our work as artists, dancers, administrators, and citizens. We aim to create new opportunities for individuals to connect with each other through high-quality arts experiences. Attack Theatre’s programs focus on demystifying the creative process, allowing participants to engage with dance and movement through innovation, collaboration, and co-creation.

In The Studio

From Game Nights to community classes, we open our studio for any and all to participate in our creative process, challenge their perspective, and meet new people.

In the wild

Attack Theatre takes its name from a philosophy that believes art can be brought to the audience. Street corners, cathedrals, backyards, storefront windows, and bridges become our stage.

In Partnership

Attack Theatre forges partnerships with community organizations to provide high-quality and innovative arts programming for people from all walks of life.
